Once again, we have a busy and extremely high quality programme of literary events at this year’s festival. We bring you a selection of readings by members of Borders Writers’ Forum whose new anthology is inspired by the many bridges that span the Tweed and its tributaries; a raucous collection of stories based on a selection of intriguing items contained within the John Buchan Story Museum; a writers’ workshop led by historical novelist Margaret Skea; an evening of poems, prose and music with Philip Hutton and Anita John; an open mic poetry slam; plus the much-anticipated Tweeddale Society Festival Lecture which this year features Professor Sir Ian Wilmut, who became internationally renowned for his contribution to the cloning of Dolly the sheep.
